For GCSE English, the Understanding and Producing Texts (UPT) modules are specifically designed to prepare students by having them analyse and compare different text types. For Maths, the advanced Algebra modules (AL3) and the GCSE-A Level module cover the higher-level skills required. We supplement this with extensive past paper practice and CGP revision guides.
The best time to start is as soon as you feel they could benefit from extra support. Starting in Year 10 is ideal as it allows us to build confidence, close any knowledge gaps from Key Stage 3, and cover the GCSE content at a steady, manageable pace.
